The role of the Junior Administrative Assistant is to provide support to the activities of eu-LISA’s Security Policy and Coordination Sector.

  • Draft, review, and support with the implementation of eu-LISA security policy framework composed by internal standards, policies, procedures and standards, guidelines, in particular on information security.
  • Organize meetings and liaising with other business areas to collect and address inputs for the security policy framework.
  • Monitor the implementation of the Security policy framework.
  • Contribute to the drafting of Business Cases for information security-related projects and perform specific activities regarding the implementation of such projects.
  • Support in the implementation of security controls (e.g., specific access management processes) to enable resilience and continuity.
  • Plan and execute objectives as set by the Security Unit in the Security Strategy, in the information Security Management System (ISMS) and Business Continuity Management System (BCMS), in the security policies and procedures, the security plans, the business continuity plans, and the disaster recovery plans.
  • Perform any other administrative and security related tasks as required by the eu-LISA Security Officer.

  • A level of secondary education and after obtaining the diploma 5 years of relevant professional experience in administration or security OR Bachelor’s degree and after obtaining it 2 years of relevant professional experience in administration or security.
  • Experience working with the EU institutions and/or EU environment is considered a strong asset.
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond to changes in a rapidly evolving work environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Estonian language knowledge is considered an asset.

  • Ability to exercise professional discretion in a highly confidential work environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven strong level of personal integrity.
  • Supportive, proactive and helpful personality, with co-operative and service-oriented attitude.
